Social Development department reiterates commitment to improving upon SASSA services

Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and dedication to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) products and services all through an engagement using the company's senior professionals at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric exams.
Of your 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils from the schooling sector.
These learners attained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
